Chris Andrews TD has been active in the Dublin South East constituency for almost 10 years. In May 2007, Chris topped the poll in Dublin South East gaining 6,600 first preferences. He was Councillor on Dublin City Council between 1999 and 2004 and between October 2006 and May 2007.Chris is convenor of the Dail Finance Committee, and is a member of the Trade, Enterprise and Employment Committee and the European Scrutiny Committee.
Chris is passionate about politics and feels that there in no greater honour than to serve people in a democracy.
He believes, "we need fair responsible policies that will bring about a greater balance in our society and ensure that everyone has an equal right, and opportunity, to participate in education, training, work and leisure and where services are accessible and focused on the real needs of people."
